Precision Spot Process

With the "precision spot plating", the area not to be plated is covered with a special coating by a special print head.

After drying, the solid or stamping strip is gold plated by means of the depth control process. The spot precision can be increased with additional laser treatment. Print head, anode/cathode separation distance, flow velocity and current affect the quality of the plating significantly. The precision spot plating process is used to save precious metal and to achieve the highest possible level of accuracy when plating.
